AAPI Women Write. Share. Heal.

This program has been designed for AAPI women based on what I have seen as someone who identifies as an AAPI woman, writer, performer, and space holder.

Here’s the thing, Humans are wired to tell stories, connect to stories, and learn from stories. As for Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) women, there are cultural barriers to believing that our stories are important and should be shared with the world. I’ve faced this with my own family who question why I share such truthful details of my life worldwide when I’ve launched my book projects (i.e. The Untold Stories of a Chinese and Puerto Rican Woman).

The answer is simple. When we write and say our stories in safe and supportive spaces we connect deeper to our authentic truth and who we are.

Through guidance, courage, and focus we can change ourselves, heal generations, and inspire future ones. In this 8-week series, we will build our narratives, listen to one another, and step into bravery by sharing it aloud at a public, virtual event.
